On this early November morning near Cedar Lake in northeastern Minnesota, some of the first accumulating snow of the season has muffled the nearing of 3 whitetail deer. At first the lead doe came in by herself, soon followed by the buck and a second doe. Now their cautious approach has halted and all are on alert as they sense that some intruder is in their domain.
